Biography
Cicora was born in San Giuliano di Puglia, Campobasso Province, Molise Region, Italy, on 15 September 1913.
On his 110th birthday, he received a congratulatory message from the governor of San Giuliano di Puglia, Francesco Roberti. At the time, he was reported to be very mentally alert. He shared many stories about his life with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and thanked everyone for their well wishes. He also expressed gratitude to God for his long and meaningful life.
Cicora passed away in San Giuliano di Puglia, on 31 March 2024, at the age of 110 years, 198 days.

On 1 June 2023, at the age of 109 years, 259 days, he surpassed the final age of Crescenza Zecchino (17 March 1899 – 30 November 2008), becoming the oldest person ever in the region of Molise. Three months later, in September, he celebrated his 110th birthday, becoming the region’s first ever supercentenarian.
On 31 December 2023, following the passing of 111-year-old Tripolino Giannini, he became the oldest living man in Italy. He held the title for three months before his passing, when he was succeeded by 110-year-old Vitantonio Lovallo.
At the time of his passing, he was the third-oldest known person ever to have been born in the region of Molise, after Louisa Delfino (1886–1999) and Antonia Amore (1905–2016), both of whom died in the United States.
