Juana Badillo Escalón is a Mexican centenarian whose age is currently under review by LongeviQuest.

Biography

Juana Badillo Escalón was born in San José de Ipoa, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on 1 February (claimed 3 January) 1915.

At some point, she got married and had 16 children (twelve sons and four daughters). She worked in the fields together with her husband to support the family. Her husband died of an injury he sustained after falling from a cart. In 1970, she moved to Matehuala.

In December 2020, she fell two times and has been unable to walk ever since. As of January 2023, she was living with her 73-year-old daughter, Ventura Gallegos Badillo. At the time, she had 80 grandchildren, 172 great-grandchildren, 80 great-great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-great-grandchildren (six generations in total).

Badillo Escalón currently lives in Matehuala, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
