Teresa Gayarre Ripalda was born in Sos del Rey Católico, Aragon, Spain, on 1 April 1907. She had at least one daughter.
In 1999, she moved to the Nuestra Señora de Manjavacas nursing home in Mota del Cuervo. At 109, it was reported that despite having broken both hips, she was doing remarkably well for her age. Although she required a wheelchair, she was still able to stand, walk short distances, and feed herself independently.
Teresa Gayarre Ripalda passed away in Mota del Cuervo, Castilla–La Mancha, on 9 July 2017, at the age of 110 years, 99 days.
At the time of her passing, she was the oldest living person in the autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha. Upon her own passing, she was succeeded by Teófila Gutiérrez Jiménez.
Her age has not been validated.
