Quitéria Duarte Pires is a Brazilian semi-supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Quitéria Duarte Pires was born in Raimundo Martins, Santa Quitéria, Ceará, Brazil, on 13 June 1917.
At 17, she married Antônio Pires de Mesquita in her birthplace. The couple went on to have seven children: Tonico, Raimundo, Milton, José, Assis, Pedro, and Luzanira.
At 105, she had 35 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
At 106, she continued to read the Bible clearly, without the aid of glasses, and sang hymns from the Baptist church. She remained lucid.
