Käthe Margarete Anna Wulf was a German supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Käthe Wulf was born in Frieschenmoor, Lower Saxony, Germany on 23 March 1902.
Wulf moved into the nursing home on Seilerstraße in Frankfurt in 1992, at the age of 90.
Her 110th birthday was celebrated in the home’s ballroom in the presence of her family, fellow residents, and a representative of the City of Frankfurt. Following a welcoming address by the nursing home management and staff, Dr. Wolter-Brandecker, Deputy Speaker of the City Council, conveyed the City of Frankfurt’s congratulations.
Käthe Wulf passed away in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany, on 19 June 2013, at the age of 111 years, 88 days.
RECOGNITION
At the time of her passing, she was the second-oldest living person in Germany, after Gertrud Henze.
Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 5 March 2020.
