BIOGRAPHY
Jennie Parlin was born on 26 February 1876 in Medina, Ohio, USA, to parents Margaret Licey and Joseph Krieble. Her family soon moved to the Athens, Michigan area, where she has remained for her entire life.
She married C. DeWitt Parlin in 1898 and they had ten children. He died shortly after they celebrated their 60th anniversary in 1958.
In older age, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting and watching television. At age 90, she moved in with her daughter Bondalyn Harrison, and in 1981 she moved to Arrowood Nursing Center.
Jennie Parlin died on 19 December 1986 at the age of 110 years, 296 days.
