BIOGRAPHY
Iracema Matias Chaves was born in Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brazil, on 8 September 1916 (claimed 1917).
She firstly married to José Fagundes Sobrinho, a businessman, with whom she had two children: Jair (died on 7 May 2000) and Janice. After being widowed, she married João Alves Chaves, a military man, and had a daughter: Janete.
As of 18 September 2025, she had two daughters, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
She currently lives in Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
