Geneva Williamson

BIOGRAPHY

Geneva Williamson was born in Rockingham County, North Carolina, USA, on 7 November 1909, to parents Harry Alverson and Julie Ann Benton. She attended local public schools and was an active member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Described as a woman of strong religious convictions, she also worshipped with The Tent Ministries, Locust Hill Apostolic Church, Guiding Light Holiness Church, and Disciples of Christ.

At some point, she married Daniel Williamson (1900–1984). She had three children: James Dickerson, Jack Dickerson, and Millie Miller.

Williamson passed away in Reidsville, North Carolina, USA, on 12 February 2020, at the age of 110 years, 97 days.
