Frida Bischof Ferreira de Carvalho was born on Figueira Farm in São Manuel, São Paulo, on 31 August 1914. She was one of six children. Her father, José Bischof, was from Austria, while her mother, Isabel Diehl Bischof, was from Piracicaba, São Paulo.
She worked as a teacher. She currently lives in Assis, São Paulo, Brazil.
