BIOGRAPHY

Dalcisa Bozzi Carvalho was born in Rio Novo do Sul, Espírito Santo, Brazil, on 4 April 1916. In her youth, she moved to Vitória to pursue her studies. During that time, she boarded at the now-closed Colégio do Carmo, which was located in the facilities later incorporated into the church of the same name in the city center. After completing her studies, she graduated and went on to work as a teacher for over three decades. At some point, she got married and had children. She is fluent in French.

As of her 108th birthday, she had 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
