BIOGRAPHY

Amy Johnson was born in Minnesota, USA, on 7 May 1914. She had seven siblings: Iver Byman, Robert Byman, Floyd Byman, Alice Frosch, Dorothy Lupkes, Eleanore Byman, and Roselle Baldry. At some point, she married Wally Johnson, with whom she had three children: Darrell Johnson, Rhonda Foley, and Pam Pennington.

Amy Johnson passed away in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, on 31 December 2024, at the age of 110 years, 238 days. She was survived by her sister, Roselle Baldry, a daughter Pam, three grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION

On 2 April 2024, following the passing of 113-year-old Lillian Moran, she became the oldest (known) living person in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
