Alberta Tarducci was an Italian supercentenarian.
Alberta Tarducci was born in Signa, Florence, Tuscany, Italy, on 8 November 1906. She spent her early years working in the fields before meeting her husband and starting a family.
At some point, she married Vittorio Martini, a craftsman with a passion for gardening. He passed away due to illness in 1981. She had four children, and by the time she turned 110, her family had grown to include seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
At the age of 105, she suffered a fractured femur but made an incredible recovery, though she remained in a wheelchair. Around the age of 106, she moved into a nursing home in Lastra a Signa. Even on her 110th birthday, she remained mostly lucid and could still read without glasses.
Alberta Tarducci passed away in Signa, Florence, Tuscany, on 25 January 2017, at the age of 110 years, 78 days.
Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 3 July 2021.
