Willie Mae Jackson, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida, USA, celebrated her 110th birthday on 30 June, according to the Jacksonville Free Press.
Even at 110, Jackson still attends weekly church services at the care facility where she resides. When asked what advice she would offer younger generations, she replied, “I would tell them to get in touch with the Savior, God, I know Him. He got me where I am.” Her daughter attributed Jackson’s longevity to her lifelong faith and mental discipline. She also maintained simple habits throughout her life, including avoiding pork and enjoying tea—especially green tea and sweet tea.
She currently has eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
LongeviQuest extends warm congratulations to Willie Mae Jackson on her 110th birthday.
