Brígida Cândida de Jesus was born on 1 February 1913. She married and had 11 children, and was widowed around 1995. In 2023, she had 31 grandchildren, more than 50 great-grandchildren, and more than 40 great-great-grandchildren. As of her 111th birthday, five of her children were still alive.
