Marie Louise Tortech, a resident of Genoa, Liguria, Italy, is celebrating her 111th birthday today.
Tortech was born in the commune of Saint-Girons in the Ariège department, Occitania, France, on 9 May 1914. At some point, she moved to Italy.
On 5 February 2025, following the passing of 111-year-old Ebe Tosi, she became the oldest living person in Liguria. At the moment, she is the 8th-oldest living person in Italy.
