BIOGRAPHY
Elisabeth Chaudière was born in the commune of La Guyonnière in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France, on 13 January 1903. Her parents were Henri Drouin (born 1867) and Marie Justine GOUREAU (born 1870).
On 7 February 1922, at the age of 19, she married Narcisse Armand Laurent Chaudière (1897–1971) in Treize-Septiers. The couple had at least one daughter, Monique Ansquer.
Elisabeth Chaudière passed away in the commune of Gétigné in the department of Loire-Atlantique in the Pays de la Loire region in western France, on 20 January 2014, at the age of 111 years, 7 days.
RECOGNITION
Chaudière’s age was verified by Antoine Demarais and Cyril Depoudent (Les Grands Centenaires Français), and was validated by the ESO on 27 January 2020.
