Jesús Redondo Bermejo, the oldest living man in Spain, is celebrating his 111th birthday today in Cáceres, Extremadura. On his birthday, he was visited by Daniel Germán Delgado, Senior Researcher at LongeviQuest España.

Jesús Redondo Bermejo was born in Cañaveral, Cáceres Province, Extremadura, on 2 June 1915. He started working as an accountant for the town hall at the age of 19 and continued in that position until his retirement in 1976. He married and had at least three children.

On 29 October 2025, following the passing of Luis Carrasco-Muñoz y Pérez de la Isla, he became the oldest living man in Spain.
