Nair Dias, a resident of Campanha, Minas Gerais, Brazil, passed away today, 31 May, at the age of 111 years, 195 days.
Nair Dias was born in Campanha, on 17 November 1914. Dias was born to Joaquim Messias Dias (died 18 January 1976) and Anna Augusta da Fonseca (died 27 February 1920). She had one sibling from this union, Lígia Fonseca Dias (1919-1983). Her father remarried on 5 July 1922, and Nair gained half-siblings from this union. She was employed at the Post Office.
At the time of her death, she was survived by two half-siblings: Maria Olinda Marcondes Dias (b. 1925) and Luiz Dario Marcondes Dias (b. 1935).
