Madeline Bamberger Debord was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on 3 November 1915. She graduated from Hughes High School in the 1930s. She and her husband, Ed, had one daughter. By the time she turned 110, she also had two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
On 9 July 2026, following the passing of 111-year-old Emma Kmet, she became the oldest known living person in Ohio.
