Dorina Cecotti, a resident of Martignacco, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy, turned 110 on 7 November, according to Telefriuli.
Dorina Cecotti was born in Campoformido, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy, on 7 November 1915. When she became a widow at just 35, she was forced to enter the workforce, working as a seamstress to support both herself and her only son, Attilio.
According to her grandson, her secret to longevity was a balanced diet, plenty of time spent outdoors, and maintaining her independence well into extreme old age.
On her 110th birthday, a major celebration was held for her in Martignacco. The event was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Udine, Alessandro Venanzi, the Mayor of Pasian di Prato, Juli Peressini, and the Councilor of Martignacco, Valentina Bordet.
