Rachel “Bobbie” Miles, a resident of Prescott, Arizona, celebrated her 110th birthday on 7 June, according to the Prescott Daily Courier.

Miles was born in Eagar, Arizona, USA, on 7 June 1915. Her first childhood home had no running water, and her father served as the local sheriff. The youngest of seven children, she attended a one-room schoolhouse where students of all ages sat together, arranged in rows according to their learning level rather than their age.

Miles graduated high school with dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher, but her family couldn’t afford to send her to college. Instead, she devoted herself to being a full-time mother, finding great joy in watching her daughters graduate from university. She credited her long life to maintaining a positive outlook—and to her faith in Jesus.

On 27 April 2024, she possibly succeeded Carmen Slough as the oldest living resident of Arizona.

LongeviQuest extends warm congratulations to Rachel Miles on her 110th birthday.
