Consolación Paz Precedo, a resident of Cambre, Galicia, Spain, celebrated her 111th birthday on 28 December. Her birthday was initially announced by the Cambre Municipality on their social media profiles. Yesterday, the Mayor of Cambre, María Pan, along with Councillor Ramón Boga, visited her home to present her with a bouquet of flowers.

Consolación Paz Precedo was born in Cambre, on 28 December 1913. She attended a school known as Doña Casilda, learned to sew, and spent many years working in the fields. She later opened a bar in A Rocha, naming it A Casa de Teresa in honor of one of her daughters.

When she first visited the Cambre medical center for an infection caused by a chicken bite, the staff checked her medical records and found that she didn’t have one because she had never been there before. At 100, she underwent cataract surgery.

According to her, one of the secrets to her longevity is that she has worked all her life.

LongeviQuest extends warm congratulations to Consolación Paz Precedo on her 111th birthday.
