Cerano, Guanajuato — Hilario Orozco Lemus, the oldest (documented) living man in Mexico, celebrated his 111th birthday on November 3. His birthday was reported by the Facebook page of “Mi Cerano Guanajuato México.”

Hilario Orozco Lemus was born in Puruándiro, Michoacán, Mexico, on 3 November 1913. In May 1936, he married Eloisa Serrano Fonceca. The couple had 11 children (seven daughters and four sons). One of their sons is David Orozco Serrano (born c.1951), a Priest of the parish of the Santísima Trinidad de Janamuato in Puruándiro.

His wife passed away in April 2016, one month away from their 80th wedding anniversary.

At the moment, he is the oldest (documented) living man in North America, and one of the oldest living men in the world.
