Dora Caverson, a resident of Perth, Western Australia, celebrated her 110th birthday on September 10th. Her birthday was first reported by 10 News First Perth.

Caverson was born in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, on 10 September 1914. At some point, she married and had at least one son, who attended her birthday party at the retirement home where she currently resides. She moved to Australia in the late 1980s.

On 8 March 2024, following the passing of 110-year-old Alfreda Screaigh, she became the oldest (known) living resident of Western Australia.

As of September 2024, she is the fourth-oldest (known) living resident of Australia, after Ken Weeks, Lorna Henstridge, and Mavis Turner.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Dora Caverson on her 110th birthday.
