Misaho Hosokawa was a validated Japanese supercentenarian known as the second-oldest (known) living person in Toyama Prefecture at the time of her death.

Misaho Hosokawa was born on 12 December 1908 in  Jōhana (now Nanto City), Toyama Prefecture, Japan.

She spent her whole life in Nanto City where she also had her children at some point in her life.

On 7 December 2007, just before her 99th birthday, she was congratulated by the mayor for turning 100 (according to the traditional East Asian age count). The secret to her longevity was “not to worry too much.”

Misaho Hosokawa passed away on 10 February 2019 in a nursing home due to natural causes.
