LongeviQuest is pleased to report that the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) has validated the age of Vitantonio Lovallo at 110 years.
Vitantonio is an Italian supercentenarian born on 28 March 1914 in a vineyard in the hamlet of Avigliano, Basilicata, Italy.
He got his first job as a shepherd when he was 16 years old. Later, he worked cultivating land with wheat and corn until the onset of the Second World War.
At some point in his life, he got married and had two daughters and a son with her wife.
He claims that the secret to his longevity is a healthy and stress-free life.
Mr. Lovallo is the oldest man in the region of Basilicata and the oldest man living man in the country after Michele Cicora passed away on 31 March 2024.
He currently resides in Avigliano, in the smaller hamlet of Sarnelli, at the age of 110.
