Kate Lowenthal was a validated American supercentenarian who was among the oldest living people in the state of Florida.
Kate Lowenthal was born on 9 October 1898 in New York City.
At age 14, she found work as a hat maker in Manhattan. She recalled the pride she felt after seeing her works being sold in New York City.
At some point in her life, she got married and had two children with her husband. Lowenthal also worked for a cancer service, as well as in a hospital cutting bandages.
When Lowenthal was 80, she moved to Palm Beach County, Florida after her husband’s retirement. She moved into a nursing home at the age of 109.
Mrs. Lowenthal passed away on 3 December 2009 in Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, United States.
