Helen Woods was a validated American supercentenarian who died in 2014 at the age of 110. At the time of her passing, she was the oldest known living person in the U.S. state of Missouri.
Helen Woods was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, USA, on 25 January 1904. Following her high school graduation in 1922, Woods embarked on a 40-year career as a bookkeeper at Lamborn, Murray, and Davis Livestock Commission Company, retiring in 1968. She got married on 30 July 1930.
Beyond her career, she actively engaged with her community, participating in various organizations like Christ Episcopal Church, the Areme Chapter of Eastern Star, the Social Order of Beauceant, and the Needles Buffs of Moila, even receiving a 50-year pin from the Eastern Star in 2014.
Woods passed away in St. Joseph, Missouri, USA, on 19 June 2014, at the age of 110 years, 145 days.
