With great sadness, LongeviQuest reports that Esther Groneman passed away at 110. She passed away on 29 February 2024 in Lincolnville, Kansas, USA.
Esther Margreta Louise Groneman was born on 18 December 1913 in Lincolnville, Kansas. She was baptized into the Christian faith on 25 January 1914 and confirmed on 29 April 1928 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lincolnville.
She married Arthur August Henry Groneman on 11 June 1935 at the same church.

She spent her life on their farm east of Lincolnville, assisting her husband with various tasks such as milking cows, harvesting wheat, and hand-picking corn. Esther found joy in gardening, canning, baking, sewing, and tending to their fruit trees. She enjoyed cultivating various flowers, including irises, poppies, and other blooms.
Esther is survived by four children, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lincolnville, Kansas.
