LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Hiro Matsumoto at 112 years old. She is a Japanese supercentenarian recognized as the oldest living person in Chiba Prefecture.

Hiro Matsumoto was born on 9 September 1911 in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

At some point in her life, she married a fisherman and had one son with him. After World War II, she would push a handcart around town to sell the fish that her husband caught. Her son grew up and also entered the fishing industry alongside his father.

The couple loved shopping and traveling together until her husband died at the age of 92. After this, she maintained an active routine of walking to strengthen her legs because she did not want to inconvenience her son and grandchildren.
