New Validation: Miyoko Hiroyasu (1911-Present) of Japan

LongeviQuest is delighted to announce the age validation of Miyoko Hiroyasu at 112 years old. She is a Japanese supercentenarian who currently holds the record of being the oldest living person in Ōita Prefecture.

Miyoko Hiroyasu was born on 23 January 1911 in Nakatsu, Ōita Prefecture. She studied at an art school in Tokyo and worked as an art teacher in Hiroshima Prefecture.

At the age of 110 years old, she was still reading newspapers as part of her daily life. Miyoko also occasionally played Othello while also writing letters to her three children.

Hiroyasu is the last surviving person in Ōita Prefecture who was born in the Meija area.
