The Oldest Person in Missouri Passed Away At 112

LongeviQuest is saddened to report the passing of Mrs. Velma Hinds of Macon, Missouri, USA on June 8, 2023, at the age of 112 years, 229 days.

Mrs. Hinds was born in Webb City, Missouri, USA, on 22 October 1910. She grew up in Oklahoma and later moved to Kansas, where she worked at a sewing factory for a few years. In 1934, she married William Louis Hinds Jr. with whom she had two daughters. She was an active member of the Church of God Holiness.

At the time of her passing, Mrs. Hinds was not only the oldest living person in the U.S. state of Missouri, but also the sixth-oldest living person in the United States.
