BIOGRAPHY

Júlia Nóbrega was born in São Mamede, Paraíba, Brazil on 28 May 1912. At the age of 4, she moved to Alagoa Grande, where she resided until her marriage in 1933. At the age of 8, she began playing piano at the Nossa Senhora do Rosário College in Alagoa Grande. In 1940, she moved to João Pessoa.

As a pianist, she has played for 40 years at the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Snows in João Pessoa. She had 10 children. As an elderly woman, she had 36 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
