José Concepción Jiménez Regla was a Mexican supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS).

Biography

José Concepción Jiménez Regla was born in Soyatlán Del Oro, Municipality of Atengo, Jalisco, Mexico, on 8 December 1906. His parents were Telésforo Jiménez García and Refugio Regla Preciado. He married Sofia Fregoso Ramirez (1917–1982). They had at least one child.

His mother died at 95, and his older brother died a few months away from his 100th birthday.

José Concepción Jiménez Regla died of a heart attack in Soyatlán Del Oro, Jalisco, Mexico, on 8 February 2017, at the age of 110.

In December 2016, he celebrated his 110th birthday, becoming the first confirmed male supercentenarian in the State of Jalisco.
