BIOGRAPHY

On 12 October 2015, aged 110, she became the oldest living person in Tochigi following the death of 110-year-old Kame Saito of Utsunomiya. In July 2017, she surpassed the age of Yaita’s Aki Onozaki and broke her 8-year record to become the oldest person ever in Tochigi.

Kishi died on 19 March 2019 in Oyama, Tochigi, at the age of 113 years, 200 days. Her successor as Tochigi’s oldest living person was 110-year-old Sata Adachi of Moka.
