BIOGRAPHY

Pate was born as Rosa McCauley in Dallas, Texas, on 22 May 1913 to Mack McCauley Jr. and Georgia P. Waller. She married and had an unreported number of children.

Pate’s last surviving sibling, George McCauley, died in 2017 aged 95. She was also predeceased by a grandson in 2007. At the age of 110, she is reported to still live at home and is in very good health.
