Maria Rosa Conti was a Brazilian supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Maria Rosa Conti was born at the Palmeiras site in Uchoa, São Paulo, Brazil, on 3 July 1915. Her parents were José Bento do Carmo and Virgínia Rosa da Conceição. She had six siblings that survived infancy: Benedicta, Sebastiana, Antonio, João, Anna, and Joaquim.

On 11 April 1940, she married Atilio Conti. The couple had four daughters: Evalina, Célia, Maridalva, and Vera. She was widowed in 2007. Maria always loved music. At the age of 109, she had nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Maria attributed her longevity to a lifetime of hard work—on the farm, as a housewife, a nanny, and more. When asked about the secret to her long life, she said it was listening to music. She also credited eating well and getting plenty of rest.

Maria Rosa Conti passed away in Guapiaçu, São Paulo, on 22 July 2025, at the age of 110 years, 19 days. She passed away due to complications from a fall she suffered shortly after celebrating her 110th birthday.
