Luisa Maggioni is a Brazilian supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Luisa Maggioni was born in Fazenda da Serra, Mascarenhas, Baixo Guandu, Espírito Santo, Brazil on 19 July 1913. Her sister, Anna Maggioni (1915-2019), lived to age 104. She had eight children, of which three are still living–the oldest of which, José Pecinalli Filho, was born on 20 September 1934. She has spent most of her life in the countryside.
At 112, she was almost completely deaf and no longer spoke, making communication difficult. Despite this, she was well cared for, and her daily routine was maintained by her family. At 113, she had 30 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 48 great-great-grandchildren.
