Laís Ayres Barreira is a Brazilian semi-supercentenarian.

Laís Ayres Barreira was born in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil, on 11 December 1916, to parents Euclides Ayres and Elisa Perales Ayres.
She married Américo Barreira (11 February 1914 – 19 November 1993), a politician who had previously served as interem mayor of Várzea Alegre. Together they raised 7 children (3 sons and 4 daughters). In 1947 and 1951, her husband was elected city councilor of Fortaleza, and in 1985 he was elected vice-mayor of Fortaleza, which he served as until 1989.
She is a retired teacher, and is the longest-serving beneficiary of the Fortaleza Municipal Employees’ Pension Scheme (Previfor).
She currently lives in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil.
