BIOGRAPHY

Esther García Guzmán was born in the village of Rincón del Molino (near Atotonilco el Alto), Jalisco, Mexico, on 18 May 1912. She grew up on a ranch.

After marrying, she was a housewife who helped to raise children. One of her favorite hobbies was singing. She had a brother who lived to be 102.

As of August 2022, one of her children was 80 years old. She was described by her grandson as a “calm, but strong woman.”

Esther García Guzmán passed away in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico on 16 October 2022, at the age of 110 years, 151 days.
