Averol Dyer, the oldest living person in Cornwall, UK, passed away on 8 February, at the age of 110 years, 117 days.
Gladys Averol Dyer (née Prophet) was born on 14 October 1915. She married William Dyer, and the couple had a son, Adrian.
Following the passing of 111-year-old Ruby Levers, she became the oldest living person in Cornwall, according to the Oldest in Britain website.
