Marie-Dominique Zadick, a resident of Fort-de-France, Martinique, an overseas department of France, celebrated her 112th birthday on 14 August, according to CCAS de Fort-de-France.
Zadick was born in Le Marin, Martinique, on 14 August 1913. She had at least three siblings, Marie-Justine (1918 – 2021), who died at the age of 102, Marie-Stanislas (born 1931), and Alexis (born 1933). She never married, but had two sons, Gilbert (1933 – 2021) and Florentin.
Following the death of Philomène Fibleuil on 11 June 2023, Zadick became Martinique’s oldest resident at the age of 109.
