Luisa Maggioni is a Brazilian supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Luisa Maggioni was born in Fazenda da Serra, Mascarenhas, Baixo Guandu, Espírito Santo, Brazil on 19 July 1913. She had eight children, of which three are still living–the oldest of which will be 91 in September 2025. She has spent most of her life in the countryside.

At 112, she is almost completely deaf and no longer speaks, making communication difficult. Despite this, she is well cared for, and her daily routine is maintained by her family. She has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Gabriel Ainsworth, Iara Souza, and Filipe Lopes, and validated by LongeviQuest on 2 March 2025.

As of her 112th birthday, she is the oldest living validated person in the state of Espírito Santo, and the 9th-oldest living validated person in Brazil.
