Josefa Maria da Conceição, the oldest known living person in Paraíba, Brazil, turned 112 years old on 4 April. However, she and her family celebrated it today, 10 April.
Josefa Maria da Conceição was born in Sítio Curral do Meio in Cuité, Paraíba, Brazil, on 4 April 1914. Her father, Manoel Simplício do Nascimento, passed away on 26 March 1947, while her mother, Maria Tertulina da Conceição, passed away on 3 July 1972. She had one son; Marivaldo Alves Farias (21 October 1955 – 13 August 1998). At the time of her 112th birthday, she has two grandsons; Ariosvaldo and Márcio.
