Margaret Dilullo, a resident of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, celebrated her 110th birthday on 13 December. Her birthday was first reported by ABC27.

Dilullo was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, USA, on 13 December 1914, to parents Walter and Millie Sweigert. At age 8, after her mother left the family, she took on adult responsibilities, caring for her younger brothers. A year later, she moved to Lancaster County to live with relatives, balancing school with demanding work in their grocery store and farm chores. By 12, she saw herself as a full-time worker.

After graduating high school in 1932, she married Jesse James Hirneisen during the Great Depression. Despite financial hardships, the couple persevered, with Jesse finding woodworking jobs and Margaret excelling at an insurance company, eventually becoming a manager and the family’s primary provider. They raised two children, Jacqueline Kendall and Lee H. Hirneisen.

After more than 40 years of marriage, Jesse passed away. Some time later, she met a salesman named George Dilullo, and they eventually married. Her second husband passed away after approximately 20 years of marriage.

When asked about the secret to her longevity, she credited it to a daily beer, good genes, and her faith in God.
