Hatsue Sawada was a validated Japanese supercentenarian known as the second-oldest person in Toyama Prefecture at the time of her death.

Hatsue Sawada was born on 27 June 1903 in Hamakazumi Village (now Namekawa City), Toyama Prefecture, Japan.

At some point in her life, she married Saichiro of the Namerikawa City Council. The couple had a son and a daughter together.

On both her 99th and 100th birthdays, the mayor of Namerikawa City visited her to celebrate her longevity.

Later in life, around 2009, Sawada was hospitalized in Namerikawa City. Despite her hospitalization, she remained in good health.

Hatsue Sawada passed away on 28 February 2014 in Namerikawa, Toyama Prefecture, Japan.
