Charlotte Jane McLauchlin was a validated American supercentenarian known as the oldest resident in Indiana at the time of her death.
Charlotte McLauchlin was born on 9 January 1912 in Bronson, Branch County, Michigan, United States.
McLauchlin never married and had no children, saying she “never had time.” Following her father’s death in 1935, she helped to support the family.
After graduating in 1931, she worked for A. H. Perfect Co., a grocery store, followed by Kirch Company in the credit department. She enjoyed the company of her coworkers, missing them after her retirement.

At 104 years old, she moved to a nursing home in Centreville, Michigan. Four years later, she relocated to another retirement community in Indiana.
Charlotte McLauchlin passed away on 24 April 2023 in Elkhart, Elkhart County, Indiana, United States.
