LongeviQuest is saddened to announce the passing of Sarah Symphor, the 110-year-old resident of Rivière-Salée, Martinique.
Mrs. Symphor was born in Macouba, Martinique, France, on 26 August 1914 She spent her early years as a nun before becoming a laywoman. At some point in her life, she married André Symphor, and raised six children with him.

A dedicated community member, she was known for her charitable work, including fostering children and teaching catechism. Recently, she was honored with the Macouba honorary citizen medal.
