Maria Löw was a validated German supercentenarian known as the oldest living native of the state of Bavaria at the time of her death.
Maria Löw was born on 25 January 1902 in Grimmschwinden, Schnelldorf, Bavaria, Germany.
At some point in her life, she got married and had at least one daughter. She spent her life assisting in local farming circles until her 90th birthday.
A few weeks before her 110th birthday, Löw suffered two bouts of pneumonia, fully recovering by the time she attained supercentenarian status. She was revered locally for her sense of humour, as well as her hospitality and sociable nature.
Maria Löw passed away on 14 March 2012 in the same village she was born.
