The oldest living person in the Italian region of Liguria, Ebe Tosi, celebrated her 111th birthday on July 11th. Her birthday was first reported by the Il Secolo XIX.

Tosi was born in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, on July 14, 1913. However, she claims to have been born on July 11, so her birthday was celebrated on that date. She married twice, but had no children. In 1946, she voted for Italy to become a republic; she moved to Genoa, Liguria, following the death of her first husband. At the age of 105, she moved into a nursing home in Genoa, where she currently resides.

On 16 March 2024, following the passing of 112-year-old Ines Sommovigo, she became the oldest living person in the region of Liguria.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Tosi on her 111th birthday.
